Every club season, compared consistently

A season comparison is more precise than a calendar-year comparison because it follows club campaigns and their competition structure. The table separates league, national cup, league cup, continental and other official matches, then reconciles them into each season total.

Cells show appearances / goals. Competition names are grouped exactly as the reusable source table defines them; “other” can contain super cups and club world competitions.

Use the team filters above the chart to isolate a club spell. The same rows power the dedicated season statistics page, so the chart and table cannot drift apart.

Why 2014–15 stands above the other campaigns

The 2014–15 peak combined an extraordinary league return with goals in Europe and domestic competition. It belongs to Ronaldo’s Real Madrid period, when the season table repeatedly places him above the scoring levels of his early Manchester United years and later campaigns.

That does not make raw season totals a complete measure of performance. Competition formats change, teams play different numbers of matches, and a player’s role evolves. Appearances and goals per game should be read beside the goal total rather than treated as an afterthought.

Season totals versus calendar-year totals

A club season can cross two calendar years, while a calendar year can include parts of two club seasons plus Portugal matches. That is why Ronaldo Records keeps the combined calendar-year series separate from the season table. Neither is a substitute for the other.

Sources and current coverage

The season matrix is imported from the public tables at RonaldoStats.app as one coherent snapshot. Real Madrid’s official Cristiano Ronaldo legend profile provides club context; it is not represented as the automatic feed for this table.

See the methodology page for competition grouping and correction rules, or compare the club totals in the team dashboard.
